acid3 100

i have been a Opera fan for quite some time now. i am even testing the new builds of Opera and the developers have done some nice job. I was going through Opera desktop team blog and found that Opera Software develoeprs have managed to reach a 100% score on the Acid3 Test. :D

The Acid3 Test is designed to test specifications for Web 2.0, and exposes potential flaws in implementations of the public ECMAScript 262 and W3C Document Object Model 2 standards. Collectively known as DOM Scripting, it is these technologies that enable advanced page interactivity and power many advanced web applications such as web-based email and online office applications.

As always Opera is in forefront in providing standards which ensure simple, affordable access to web technologies for all. Take the acid3 test to check whether your favorite browser meets the standards.
